Living in the high desert of Prescott Valley at an elevation of over 5,000 feet presents unique air quality challenges for homeowners. The arid climate and frequent wind patterns in Northern Arizona often kick up significant amounts of local dust, volcanic soil, and pollen, which easily infiltrate aging ranch-style homes and newer construction alike. Because our area experiences drastic temperature swings between day and night, we rely heavily on central HVAC systems, which unfortunately circulate these trapped indoor allergens throughout the year if not equipped with proper filtration technology.
